Aim:
Encourage greater interaction between the community and the elderly.
Why:
Honour and appreciate the elderly for their contributions to Singapore.
Where:
Queenstown Secondary School.
What:
60 elderly were invited to share personal anecdotes (of their growing years).
How:
Participants were invited to participate in various activities, including games. Handwritten thank-you notes were also presented to participants.

“Is there a need to thank someone for doing their job?”

Aim:
To address that all jobs matter and acknowledge the service of individuals in jobs perceived as thankless.
Why:
To recognise the service staff who dedicate their time and energy to meet the needs of the people.
Where:
Dawson Shopping Centre.
What:
Members of the public were encouraged to write appreciation notes for those who worked at the mall; the notes were later collated and given to the manager of the mall.
How:
Conversing with shoppers, the cadets hope to inspire more recognition for the workers.
