Appreciating our Healthcare Personnel

Aim:
Create awareness and encourage people to show gratitude to healthcare workers.
Why:
Felt that society was taking these workers for granted, as seen from incidents of abuse towards healthcare staff by patients or their family members.
Where:
Ren Ci Community Hospital.
What:
The team encouraged hospital visitors to write notes of appreciation on paper hearts.
How:
Notes of appreciation were mounted onto an appreciation board and presented to healthcare personnel to show the public’s appreciation for their efforts.
Spread Kindness, Spread Neighbourliness

Aim:
Nurture the kampong spirit and promote neighbourliness among residents.
Why:
Many younger residents had comparatively less kampong spirit.
Where:
Housing estate at Strathmore Avenue.
What:
The team distributed cards and encouraged residents to write notes of appreciation to their neighbours.
How:
Opportunities were provided to forget better relations with their neighbours despite challenges faced. Residents were receptive and gave the team compliments.
